A teen from Dallas was driving his motorcycle in Richardson and unfortunately collided with a Sedan at the intersection of West Campbell Road and Nantucket Drive.
The motorcycle accident occurred on November 22, and involved a 16-year-old boy who was operating the motorcycle. As the sedan made a left turn, the teen and the Sedan made impact.
According to police reports, the boy was taken to a nearby hospital where he passed away.
The Price of a Fatal Motorcycle Accident
Sadly, a family had one less member at the Thanksgiving dinner table this year. Unfortunately, wrongful deaths such as this are issues we see quite often as personal injury lawyers.
While the death of a loved one is a massive emotional blow, the worst part is that they only continue as funeral expenses, family therapy costs, and time taken from work to grieve take a massive financial toll.
In cases where a wrongful death occurred, insurance companies from the responsible party will typically pay some compensation. Still, it’s rarely enough to cover the costs your family will face in the long term.
How Can a Dallas Personal Injury Attorney Help After a Wrongful Death?
An experienced Dallas personal injury lawyer can work with your family to build a case against the wrongful death of a loved one. Personal injury lawyers understand hard negotiations and know how to make insurance companies pay maximum compensation for a family’s pain and suffering.
While no amount can bring a person back, a family can grieve and emotionally recover in peace, knowing that the financial aspect of their situation is taken care of.
