A 32-year-old man from Boyd, Texas, was driving a 2006 Chevrolet pickup on County Road 448 in Wise County when he failed to yield the right-of-way to a 2007 Ford pickup driven by a 38-year-old man.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety officer responding to the truck accident, the collision killed the driver of the Chevrolet. Riding with the driver, who was pronounced dead at the scene of the Wise County car accident, was a 52-year-old woman, who first responders sent to an area hospital in unknown condition.
Truck Accidents Are Unpredictable…and Expensive for Victims
There are many reasons that the driver that caused the accident may have failed to stop. The victims may want to contact a personal injury lawyer to try to recoup some of their expenses, like hospital bills, damage to vehicles, and money to help them recover from pain and suffering.
While the official report does not list the extent of the victim’s injuries from the accident, medical expenses can add up very quickly after a car accident.
Studies show that car accident victims may require medical treatment for a long time, and some injuries may stay hidden initially.
