At approximately 10::45 a.m. on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, two Dallas police officers and a civilian received injuries in an automobile accident during a car chase.

The car accident occurred in the 2900 block of South Buckner Boulevard in East Dallas. At the time of the accident, the officers were chasing a stolen vehicle, which other officers eventually caught near Scyene Road and St. Augustine Drive. Two occupants were in the stolen car, and one had minor injuries. First responders took both officers and civilians to local hospitals, where doctors treated each for a minor personal injury.

The Dallas Police Department says that the two suspects they were pursuing were allegedly involved in an earlier burglary.
