Jennifer Walden, a 48-year-old Fort Worth resident, passed away following a two-car accident on U.S. 67 in Glen Rose, Texas, on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at about 6 p.m. At the time of the accident, Walden was driving a 2018 Honda Accord east on the highway. She went on the wrong side of the road for unknown reasons striking a 2022 Hyundai Palisade driven by 31-year-old Jessica Watson, who resides in Glen Rose. First responders pronounced Walden dead at the scene. Both women were wearing their seat belts.
Recovering After a Car Accident
While the Texas Department of Public Safety continues to investigate this accident, anyone involved in car accidents knows that expenses can add up very quickly.
There is no report of Jessica Watson receiving a personal injury in this case, but if she were, there would be medical expenses to pay, potential loss of work, and the emotional pain and suffering from the experience. Depending on the accident’s severity, medical expenses may be ongoing as accidents can be life-changing events.
Medical care is expensive, so the guilty person or their estate needs to cover those expenses. Of course, there is also the expense of replacing the vehicle and possibly repairing or replacing property damaged during the accident. The complexities of these types of accidents are endless, and a personal injury lawyer can help you work out the countless details without adding any stress to your situation.
