On Thursday, March 31, 2022, a man driving 87 miles an hour over the speed limit caused a fatal accident on I-20 in Fort Worth. A 22-year-old man driving his Camaro on I-20 was clocked at 157 miles per hour right before he smashed into the back end of an SUV. The accident killed one passenger in the SUV and injured two others.
The man driving the Camaro was arrested at the scene and is being charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of manslaughter. The victim that died at the scene was only 19 years old. No further information has been released on this tragic accident.
