On May 9, 2022, Jerry Jones, the Dallas Cowboys owner, was cleared from fault for a car accident that happened a couple of days prior. Jones, 80, was driving down Harry Hines Boulevard when a vehicle made an improper turn in front of him, causing Jones to T-Bone the other vehicle. Jones was taken to the hospital for a medical evaluation and was later released.
The driver of the other vehicle stated that he was making a delivery for Door Dash when he realized that he missed his turn. He was in the far right lane of Harry Hines Blvd. This driver then made an illegal left turn by crossing over all the lanes to turn left, going directly in front of Jones’ car, and causing the accident.
It has not been reported that this driver was injured. After a complete investigation, the police ruled that this driver was at-fault.
