1 Man Critically Injured After 3-Car Accident in Fort Worth
A three-car accident near the East Freeway and Beach Street intersection on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at about 7:20 p.m. left one man with life-threatening injuries. The man was driving west on East Freeway when he failed to yield to oncoming traffic. A vehicle traveling north in the right lane of Beach Street struck his car in the driver-side door. Another driver in the third car was driving north on Beach Street in the left lane.
The impact of the initial car accident sent the vehicles into his car. MedStar first responders transported the car driver struck in the driver’s door to John Peter Smith Hospital. Still, he was not expected to survive, according to officials with the Fort Worth Police Department. First responders checked on the condition of the occupants of the other cars but did not transport them for medical treatment.
