Benbrook & Grand Prairie Truck Accidents

2 Accidents Cause Shutdowns Throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Area

In the early morning hours of December 8th, two accidents wreaked havoc on the highways of Dallas and Fort Worth. The first Fort Worth incident was a truck accident.

According to witnesses and reports, this accident involved multiple 18-wheelers. While there were, fortunately, no fatalities, the accident caused disruptions that shut down the eastbound I-20 lanes near Benbrook.

The second accident occurred in Grand Prairie. This incident involved a collision between a car and a semi-truck. This accident resulted in the temporary closure of the westbound lanes of IH-30 at the George Bush Turnpike.

According to police reports, one person sustained minor injuries.

Truck and Car Accidents Go Beyond Property Damage

Car accidents are incredibly stressful and traumatic experiences that can cause various physical, mental, and emotional damage.

Though there is no single injury associated with all car accidents, common injuries can include:

  • Broken limbs
  • Scrapes and bruises
  • Whiplash
  • Concussions
  • Lacerations to the head or face
  • Spinal cord damage
  • Internal injuries
  • Amputations due entrapment
  • Burns
  • Road rash and more

Any of these injuries can be serious, require medical treatment, or result in a tragic death.

After a serious car accident, many surviving people are left with permanent debilitating symptoms due to their car accident injuries.

At Genthe Law Firm, we hope nobody ever has to experience such heart-wrenching devastation. Still, it is important for people who have been through such an incident to understand that they are not alone and there are ways for them to find healing and strength again.
