Fort Worth Three-Vehicle Accident

Fort Worth Man Dies After Three-Vehicle Accident on I-20

30-year-old Lavarius Davis, of Fort Worth, has died after a three-vehicle car accident at 3 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, March 4, 2023. His 1997 GMC Yukon rear-ended a Toyota Avalon going westbound on Interstate 20 in Arlington, near Center Street, and was hit in turn by a GMC Sierra. Davis’s Yukon hit the concrete median and rolled, landing on its side.

Davis was not wearing a seatbelt and died later in the hospital. The two other drivers had non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Avalon was later arrested on multiple outstanding warrants.

The Aftermath of Accidents

Wearing a seatbelt is not just recommended, it’s the law. We don’t know if this tragedy might have been avoided, but even a safety belt is no guarantee you’ll come away unscathed if you’re in a serious crash.

The physical trauma and long-term effects of car accident injuries can affect every aspect of your life, from your current pain and suffering to your future earnings. And the medical care costs alone have been known to financially devastate a family. If you’ve been in a traffic accident and suspect or know you’ve been injured, you’ll need a lawyer on your side.
