After hitting the biker with his white 2017 Chevy Trax, the driver allegedly stopped and called 911. Then, he put a pillow under the bicyclist’s head before leaving the accident scene. The bicyclist passed away.

Driver Arrested in Dallas Bicycle Accident

The 29-year-old driver was later arrested and booked into the Dallas County jail on Thursday, September 22, 2022, after police located the vehicle on Tuesday. The police department charged him with a second-degree felony, and a judge set the bond at $100,000.

Neighbors are circulating a petition to install speed bumps on the road where the accident occurred.
