Fort Worth Train Accident

Woman Caught Between Two Train Cars in Fort Worth

On Sunday, March 19th, at 9:00 p.m., Fort Worth Fire and Police Departments and MedStar EMS were called to rescue a 27-year-old woman who was struck by a train near the crossing at the 2500 block of West 7th Street.

A severely injured woman was pinned between two train cars after attempting to walk between them when the train started to move. The woman, identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner as a North Richland Hills resident, was freed and transported to a local hospital in critical condition but was later pronounced dead. The pedestrian incident remains under investigation.

Consequences of Pedestrian Accidents

Pedestrian accidents like this can have deadly, tragic consequences. Unfortunately, this victim’s friends and family will have to live with the loss of a loved one, bury the young woman and find a way to continue their lives without her support.

But you don’t have to be walking on the train tracks to find yourself in a bad situation. No one expects something like this to happen to them, but pedestrian and car accidents, dog bites, and other incidents can easily change anyone’s life in an instant. If this sounds like something you have experienced, you need a personal injury lawyer now. After all, the statute of limitations for most personal injury claims is just two years. That isn’t a long time when you’re dealing with financial trouble, a painful recovery, medical visits, or, in this case, grief.
