Pedestrian Injured in UPS Truck Accident

On April 11, 2022, Oscar Moreno-Elias was sitting in his pickup truck that was parked in a parking lot on Valdina Street off Wycliff Avenue. No additional information is available on the accident at this time.

Commercial Truck Accidents Happen For Many Reasons

Dallas truck accidents can happen in any area and for any reason. They are not just limited to accidents that occur while on the main roads. Like the case above, the truck accident occurred in a parking lot with one of the vehicles in the park.

In the above-stated accident, the man in the parked vehicle was injured by the event. Even though his vehicle was not moving, he is still entitled to seek compensation for his injury and losses. His personal injury was the result of the UPS driver acting carelessly.

Consult A Dallas Truck Accident Lawyer About Your Injury

Trucking accidents are complex issues regardless of the severity of the event. It will always be in your best interest to speak with a truck injury lawyer about your claim for compensation because of the challenges these claims can bring.

It may seem like a very cut-and-dry issue with the above case. But is it? Is the driver responsible for the accident because he was careless? Did the accident occur because of mechanical failure in the vehicle? Was the driver properly trained? Were there problems with the parking lot? All of these questions must be answered in this claim because the answers could point to different responsible parties.

Commercial trucking companies are responsible for maintaining their vehicles, ensuring that the drivers are properly trained and that loads are packed with proper weight distribution. All of these things are what help keep these vehicles safe when operating on the roads. If these things are not done, the carrier is as responsible for the accident as the driver.
