1 Person Extracted from Vehicle in Multi-Vehicle Dallas Collision

On January 6, 2022, emergency services responded to a multi-vehicle accident at Great Trinity Forest Way and South Buckner Boulevard. Several of the vehicles were severely damaged, with one rolling over and being pinned against a utility pole. Fire/Rescue had to extract one of the passengers by cutting through the roof of the vehicle. The accident was very chaotic, and police officers did not release a full statement until the scene was cleared. Four people were taken to the hospital, three with minor injuries and one with undisclosed injuries. The police have not given a cause for the accident because it is currently under investigation.

Multiple Vehicle Car Accidents Are Complex Events

When you have been involved in a multi-vehicle accident, it will be in your best interest to contact a Dallas personal injury lawyer as soon as possible after the event. These accidents can be very complex because you will need to be able to establish fault, so you know who is responsible for the compensation. All Dallas car accidents require that fault be established so that the other parties can claim compensation against their insurance policy. For multi-vehicle events, your attorney will have to complete a thorough investigation to determine fault. In some cases, it may be discovered that multiple parties are at fault, making the case even more complex. Working with a knowledgeable personal injury lawyer is the only way that your rights will be protected as a personal injury victim. Your attorney will ensure that the right parties are held responsible for your losses, even if that means making claims against several insurance companies.

Types Of Personal Injury Compensation

There are several types of compensation that may be available to you when you have been injured in a car accident. These types may include:

  • Cost of current and future medical care costs related to the injury
  • Loss of income and benefits from not being able to work
  • Loss of future earning potential if you cannot return back to your job
  • Expenses associated with the accident such as milage to go to the doctor and costs for making changes to your home or vehicle to accommodate your injuries
  • Pain and Suffering and Mental Anguish

There may be additional forms of compensation available to you. Your attorney will explain all the kinds of compensation available to you based on the facts of your personal injury claim.
