On the evening of November 12, a serious multi-vehicle collision occurred in Johnson County at E. FM 917, near County Road 616.
The collision involved two vehicles, both of which were severely damaged, and a case of entrapment for one of the parties involved.
Shortly before 8:30 PM, the accident occurred as an eastbound pickup truck driver clipped the rear-end of a westbound semi-truck.
This clip resulted in the pickup truck colliding with an SUV traveling westbound behind the semi-truck.
The driver of the pickup truck was entrapped and required extrication by Johnson County and AMR firefighters. He was then air flighted to JPS, sustaining serious injuries.
According to DPS, Both the driver and passenger of the SUV sustained injuries and were transported to Mansfield Methodist hospital.
