Police are still looking for the unidentified driver in the pedestrian accident. First responders took all four people that the driver hit to the hospital.

Financial Burdens After Car Accidents Mount up Quickly

The financial burden of an accident can seem overwhelming. In the best-case scenario, vehicles must be replaced or repaired. When people are injured, as in this case, someone must pay the hospital bills. Sometimes, there are more prolonged effects, such as someone being off work for a few days. In some cases where a personal injury occurs, people must buy medical equipment or spend time in a rehabilitation hospital or nursing home. In those cases, the person to blame for the accident must help pay the costs.
